Guy Parmelin, President of the Swiss Confederation 2026
Guy Parmelin assumed the office of President of the Swiss Confederation on 1 January 2026. He succeeds Karin Keller-Sutter and will head the Federal Council for the current year. As Federal President, he intends to promote collegiality and dialogue, two values that are close to his heart.
